High-Efficiency Process Adaptability
Flexographic presses utilize flexible printing plates, which enhance multi-color registration accuracy. The uniform intensity of mercury lamps reduces ink curing shrinkage variations, and when combined with the short inking system design of flexo presses, further improves registration accuracy. This makes it ideal for high-precision applications such as pharmaceutical labels.
Elastic Material Adaptability
By adjusting the output energy of mercury lamps, special coatings such as textured varnish and anti-counterfeiting inks can be cured, imparting matte finishes, raised tactile effects, or fluorescent anti-counterfeiting properties to printed materials. This meets the differentiated demands of high-end packaging. For heat-sensitive films, mercury lamps combined with water-cooling systems can maintain substrate temperatures below 60°C, preventing thermal shrinkage and deformation, thereby ensuring printing stability.
Low-Threshold Equipment Retrofitting
Retrofitting a mercury lamp system does not require modifying the core structure of flexographic presses. By simply adding a curing module to existing units, the initial investment cost remains low, making it an ideal solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to achieve rapid upgrades.
