Blanket Cleaning and UV Lamp Operation Guidelines
2025-11-06
I. Blanket Cleaning Guidelines:
1. UV equipment operators must be thoroughly trained and proficient in operating procedures.
2. UV lamps must be turned OFF during the press's automatic washing cycle.
3. Only use specialized UV washing agents with low volatility and a high flash point. Failure to do so may create a fire hazard.
4. When wiping ink transferred onto the blanket, the cloth must be wrung out thoroughly before wiping.
5. When cleaning the blanket and transfer rollers, turn off the UV lamp, wait for the exhaust delay cycle to complete (3 minutes), and ensure all components cool down before wiping. This prevents fire caused by ignition of solvents or dust by high-temperature surfaces
6. The customer shall bear full responsibility for any safety incidents resulting from failure to follow the above procedures.

II. UV Lamp Operating Guidelines:
1. After positioning the lamp unit, first connect the power plug securely and fasten the locking latch. Only then should you connect the water quick-connectors.
2.To remove the lamp, first unplug the water connector and ensure no water spills out. Then, remove the power plug while covering and securing the power cover. If water accidentally leaks during these steps, wipe it clean with a clean cloth before unplugging the power.
3. If the power plug gets wet, DO NOT use it. The water must be completely cleaned up and the plug must be thoroughly dried before reuse.
4. Not adhering to the specified sequence for connecting/disconnecting water and power lines may cause water leakage onto the electrical connectors, potentially resulting in burnt power plugs.
5. Follow the maintenance cycle of the human-machine interface for regular maintenance.
6. Periodically check the quality of the cooling circulation water (at least every six months).
7. For presses configured for both UV and conventional inks: When performing UV printing, thoroughly clean and remove any absorbed powder/dust from the lamp housing surroundings and the control system.
